9 days

some days it seems like this year has flown by and i can't even remember all of the cool things that have happened since january. and other days it seems like i've been waiting all year for this and it hasn't come soon enough. most days though, i can't sleep because i'm thinking of all the things i have to get done before next weekend. and of course i never write anything down at night so i usually forget what needs to be done.

it was really nice to be home last weekend, but also weird. my mom hugged me before i left and said "this is the last time you'll be home as our unmarried daughter." i've been living away from home for almost 3 years now, but it seems to be just hitting her that me and ty are going to have our own life now.

tyson and i carved pumpkins last night and they turned out really cute =) once i get a camera, i'll take some pics. also- halloween candy is so expensive! i'm handing out pencils or something lame from now on.

I love when people hand out pencils at Halloween. So do my kids.

I think it's time for a bubble bath, some hot chocolate and some really soothing music.

My favorite halloween treat-pencils! Yay! I do hear that the first part of that phrase, the trick part, can get pretty nasty. Lol, but it is true the candy does get expensive. Really sucks when you don't have any kids to get any back either. You're welcome to come to our house and eat some of Lauren and Emma's. So, have you made your paper chain yet teach?

Pencils are not cheap, either! Try Halloween candy for 100 students plus for trick or treater plus the students who promise to egg your house if they don't get candy on Halloween. On the bright side, most don't know where I live yet, and my landlord is their counselor.

I hate when I am thinking of a bunch of things I need to do and forget to write them down. I know if I don't write them down then I will forget them. Sometimes I count how many things I need to remember and try to remember that number but I still can't remember what the things were. Anyways can't wait to party at your wedding.

Nat, I totally do that counting thing too, especially with my grocery lists. I know I can't leave the store without my seven things. Of course remembering what all 7 were is the difficult part.

As a "mama" may I say that your mom may totally accept that you are grown and ready to start your own family. it just doesn't negate the feelings she has for you as "her little girl". She most likely has a whole new set of feelings for you as a grown up. I'm sure she respects you, admires your acomplishments, and relishes the friendship that she can share with you as an adult... but the memories of you as her little one will always remain and be very special. May I add that I am very pleased to add you to the list of special people that I refer tp as "my children". We are happy that you chose to love Ty, and look forward to years and years of fun family get togethers.

I don't know if you remember that you and Ty are coming to the valley tomorrow and then getting married on Saturday. I just wanted to remind you because I'm sure no one else is saying anything about it and you probably forgot. HA HA

This is a different tag, so here are the rules: A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.B. Each player lists 6 little-known facts/habits about themselves. C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
